Basil paced in his room, only pausing long enough to clare at the clock on the wall. Damnit, where'd Li get off to, anyway? Why didn't he say anything? Or at least leave a note. It worried him.

What if he was off with Isamu...?

"I miss Li..." He murmurs, his face buried in a red pillow on top of his red couch.

Because the Nexus is a convienent place, Basil was able to find a good sized apartment to call his own. Using money who's existance will never be explained, he buys new furniture, clothes, everything he needs to live on his own.

It's all red.

The spare body is left on a couch in Nexus with a note attached telling Li to find Cosmo if he ever shows up to pick up the body.

Wearing new clothes, sitting in an empty apartment, Basil almost feels like he can do this. Like he can start over, forget about HIM.

Then Li pops back into his head, and it's all for naught.

I feel so lost now. Li... I did something wrong, I know I did, but I don't know what it is. Why doesn't he want to be with me? He said he needed me, and now he won't let me touch him? I don't understand...

Someone... please help me.

So Li and I are back together again. Sort of. For some reason, I feel a hell of a lot better now than I have in a long time. Maybe it was wrong to dump Li like that? Oh well, at least all that's over now.

Wish I could give him a dose of amnesia though. At least to get rid of the pain I caused him. It was so nice when he trusted me so implicitly.

I thnk things'll be better from now on. I'm almost pretty sure I got control of myself now and I won't run off again. This time I'm ready for this. I can do it. Li needs me.

Having recovered from a rather disasterous break-up with Li, Basil went in search of the only person he thought could possibly be good enough for his little Asian, as much as he hated to admit it; Savannah.

And where else to look for anyone than the Nexus?
